They type one job and one town. Westmark builds a page for each, plus a written plan naming who comes up before you.
Westmark reads your site and writes up what it finds. You don't owe anything for that.

Think about the last time you needed a part for a truck. You didn't search the dealer's name. You searched the part and the town you were in. Whoever had a page for that exact part is who you called.
Your customers do the same thing. They type the job and the town. Your company name never comes into it, because they don't know it yet.
Showing up on the map doesn't need a website at all. For a broad search, your listing on its own can be plenty. It stops carrying you once somebody searches for the exact job in the exact town. Then Google is matching against pages written for those words. A listing isn't one.
That doesn't put you first. Westmark won't tell you it will. It means the page matches what they typed better than a homepage does. That's what the plan is for: Westmark opens your pages and theirs side by side and writes down what's different.
You wouldn't quote a job before seeing it. Westmark doesn't either. It prices every site on its own and shows you the full cost before you pay anything.
The first payment starts the work. It buys a working demo of your rebuilt site and a written plan for it, both sent to your email. You go through the demo and can ask for changes before you decide whether to carry on.
If the demo and plan aren't in your inbox within 30 working days of Westmark having what it needs from you, that first payment comes back in full. If the holdup was on Westmark's end, you keep what was built too. Days spent waiting on you don't count toward that clock. You'll be told exactly what's being waited on.
Westmark doesn't bill the rest until you've gone through the finished site and said yes. Once you pay it, the site goes live on your domain within two business days. Nothing on the site you have now changes before that.
Payment runs through Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe's own page, never directly to Westmark.
Section 4 of the terms, in full: "Your content, your website, and your domain belong to you from the start of the engagement and remain yours throughout it. Nothing in this agreement transfers ownership of any of them to Westmark, at any point, for any reason."
The plan doesn't stop mattering once the site is up. Want Westmark to keep going through it? That's there month to month: hosting, adding the next pages, reworking the ones doing the least, and the edits you ask for. If not, the site's yours and that's the end of it.
Leave whenever you want, for any reason or none. One email ends it. You get your files and your domain back, all of it.
